This campaign takes place in the Eberron setting, using D&D 4th Edition rules. There will be five player characters, starting at level 1. Players should write up a brief back story or biography of who their character is, and what their life was like before this moment. We will be shooting for a game once a month on the weekend, starting about December or January.
Players may discuss character classes with each other, but please do not discuss your backgrounds. The adventure will mostly take place on the mysterious continent of Xen'drik, rife with ancient treasures and the remnants of an all but forgotten time when Giant's rules the land. However, your character can be from anywhere in Eberron, and can currently be living anywhere in Eberron. Please spend all of your starting money, or as much of it as possible.
Click on Available Races and Available Classes to determine what options are available. As Eberron has many places where traditional 'monsters' are considerably more civilized than some humanoids, you'll find a number of monstrous races available. Feel free to ask about these races if you are not familiar with Eberron and would like to know more about where and how they might fit in the world.
As the majority of your time will be spent in Xen'drik, expect there to be a good amount of exploration, excavation of ruins, and being crushed underfoot by giants.
